3:00 PM        Coaches’ Packet Pick-Up At Official Table
3:30 PM        Welcome & National Anthem
3:45 PM         Women’s Check-In At Starting Line
4:00 PM         Start Time - Women’s 5,000-meter Championship Race RESULTS
4:45 PM        Men’s Check-In At Starting Line
5:00 PM         Start Time - Men’s 8,000-meters Championship Race RESULTS
5:30 PM        Awards Presentation & Athlete Dinner (immediately following the end of the men's race)

Championship Timeline:
            October 27 (Wednesday) – Entries due online at by 5:00 p.m.
            November 01 (Monday) – Random Start Box Selection
            November 03 (Wednesday) – Coaches Conference Call, TBA
           November 4 (Thursday) Coaches Pre-Meet Conference Call at 10 a.m.
            November 05 (Friday) – Conference Cross Country Championship

            8711 Monroe Road, Charlotte, North Carolina
            - Home of 1980 - 2009 Footlocker High School Regional Championships
            - Home of 1999 NCAA Division I Conference USA Championships
            - Home of 2000 Great American Cross Country Festival

Parking:       
Reserved parking will be available for officials and team vans at the entrance to the park. Buses will be directed to park in the upper lot by the soccer field.



Course:       Click Here for the Women’s 5,000-meters (Two 2,500m loops)

                     Click Here for the Men’s 8,000-meters (Three 2,666m loops)

- The start line is approximately 100-meters wide across a level grass field on the south end of the north soccer field,    
  approximately 250-meters north of the finish line
- The first turn is approximately 800-meters from the start line.
- The majority of the course is run on a crushed limestone path
- Mile markers and split timers will be provided
- Races will be led by a Bicylce Leader and trailed by a Motor Vehicle caring an Athletic Trainer

Start Boxes:        Start boxes will be randomly assigned Monday the week of the race
-    Coaches are asked to bring an institutional flag or banner for placement at starting box
-    Each institution will be assigned a Starting Box Chaperone to manage sweats & gear

Awards/Athlete Dinner: 
-    There will be an awards ceremony immediately following the conclusion of the last event. Meals will be provided to entered student-athletes and their coaches. 
 
Entries:        
Entries due at www.flashresults.com by 5:00pm Wednesday, October 27th. Unlimited entries.

Course Preview:    
McAlpine Creek Park is open to the public daily from sunup till sundown
Queens will host a preview meet Friday October 15th.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS


Directions to McAlpine Creek Park (From Junction of I-85 & I-77):
-    Go South on I-77 S/US-21 S for 1.7-miles
-    Take I-277/NC-16/Brookshire Frwy exit, EXIT 11
-    Merge onto I-277 S/NC-16 S/W BROOKSHIRE FWY via EXIT 11A on the LEFT for 2.1-miles
-    Merge onto US-74 E via EXIT 2B on the LEFT toward NC-27 E/INDEPEDENCE BLVD for 5.3-miles
-    Turn SHARP RIGHT onto IDLEWILD RD. for 0.3-miles
-    Turn SHARP LEFT onto MONROE RD. for 2.6-miles
-    McAlpine Creek Park (8711 MONROE RD) is on LEFT
