KANSAS CITY, Mo. –The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today its 2018 NABC Coaches' Division II All-District teams and coaches, recognizing the best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes and coaches in the division. Queens University of Charlotte's
Todd Withers was one of the 88 student-athletes selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division II to represent the finest basketball players across America.

Withers was named to the Southeast Region All-District First team after helping the Royals secure a spot in the NCAA DII Elite Eight for the first time since 2003. The Royals enter with a program record 31 wins so far this season. Withers has led Queens all year averaging 13.6 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. The senior has recorded eight double-doubles this season giving him a total of 15 in his career. On Dec. 30, 2017, he pulled down a career-high 16 rebounds for his 12th. He has also recorded a career-high 29 points twice this season and surpassed the 1,000-point mark.

Currently, Withers ranks third on the career rebounding list at Queens with 762. He also ranks 37th nationally in defensive rebounds per game (6.76), and 38th in total rebounds on the year (274). His total rebound count is the third most in a single season in program history. Withers also has 1,340 career points, which ranks the Royal ninth all-time at Queens in scoring. He also ranks 33rd nationally in blocked shots per game with 1.82 on each outing and is 20th nationally with a total of 62 this season.

Withers' postseason awards so far include being named to the South Atlantic Conference All-Conference First and All-Tournament Teams, the D2CCA All-Region Second Team, and the Southeast Regional All-Tournament Team. Additionally, he was named to the Bevo Francis Award Top 100 Watch List, advancing to the Top 50 Watch List.
