CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Steven McKee of Holt High School, who will join the Queens University of Charlotte men's lacrosse team, was named a high school all-American after his senior season of play.
McKee recorded 80 goals and 44 assits during the season for a total of 124 points. Holt won their third conference title in a row advancing to the state playoffs. They fell in the quarterfinal round by a score of 11-10 with McKee notching six goals. Holt finished the season with an 18-2 record.
“Steven really had a tremendous senior year really coming into his own so the all-American selection was well deserved," said
Jim Fritz, head men's lacrosse coach. "I am excited to have Steven join Kevin here at Queens.“
