NEW YORK, N.Y.- Queens University is proud to announce that the men's golf team was one of six new schools to join the top-25. Queens ranked 15th after regional play concluded in the spring.The fifth and final Golf World/Nike Golf Division II Coaches' Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Wayne State (No. 14), St. Leo (No. 19), Western New Mexico (T-20), Cameron (T-24) and Ferris State (T-24) were the other five new schools to make the list.
Barry University of Miami earned 12 of the 13 first-place votes to keep its top spot in the coaches poll. Rounding out the top-five in the poll are National Champion Florida Southern (No. 2), Lynn (No. 3), Chico State (No. 4) and Nova Southeastern (No. 5).
