Queens' men's tennis player ranks No. 55 to end the year
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- in the last Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National ranking of the 2010 season, Queens' Christiaan Lee-Daigle (Tecumseh, Ontario, L'Essor Secondary School) came in at No. 55.
Ranked as high as 47th, Lee-Daigle has had one of the most successful seasons in Queens’ history. After winning the conference Freshman of the Year award in 2009, he came into the season with high expectations. Holding up to those expectations, he finished with a 14-4 singles record en route to being named to the All-Conference First team for the second time.
Lee-Daigle is one-of-three players from the Conference Carolinas ranked in the ITA latest rankings, No. 19 Nandor Solymosi of Lees McRae and No. 52 Miguel Lopez-Zuniga of Limestone round off the list of rivals included in the rankings. This is the third consecutive poll Lee-Daigle has been ranked amongst the nation's best.
Regionally, Lee-Daigle came in at No. 13. He has held steady for the past two polls at 13 and ranked as high as 11th in the preseason poll.
