CHARLOTTE, N.C.- On the heels of winning one national title, six All-American honors, and a women’s sixth place team finish at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship, the Queens University of Charlotte
Track and Field program has announced a fundraiser and end of the year celebration on June 3, at Dilworth Neighborhood Grill from 6pm-9pm.
The fundraiser is officially being hosted by the Charlotte Running Club (CRC) with proceeds being split between the CRC’s development and operations expenses and Queens’ Alter-G Campaign. During the event Queens’ Head Track and Field Coach Scott Simmons will auction off authentic United State Track and Field gear autographed by US Olympic athletes.
The event is open to everyone at a cost of $15.00 per person at the door.
