CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Conference Carolinas men's lacrosse Tournament got off to a sunny start Friday afternoon at the Queens Sports Complex.
In game one, fourth-seeded Pfeiffer University fell behind early, as top-seeded Limestone scored six first-period goals en route to a 10-4 win over the Falcons.
In game two, third-seeded Belmont Abbey College upset two-seed Queens University of Charlotte with two goals in the final eight seconds for an
11-10 victory.
Limestone will face Belmont Abbey at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon in the Finals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament.
