Lax 4 Life event a success

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte women's lacrosse team participated in Lax 4 Life over the weekend for the first time ever in a home game against Dowling College on March 26th and at St. Andrews Presbyterian College on March 28th. Lax 4 Life benefits the Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation. The Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation was created to increase awareness of adolescent suicides and help identify adolescents at risk.

Lax 4 Life was started by the women's lacrosse teams in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference last year and their efforts have expanded to include NCAA Division II teams across the nation. The event was a success for the Royals as many donations were made to the help raise the awareness of adolescent suicides.
