Queens University of Charlotte is proud to announce the addition of Randy Jones to the men's lacrosse coaching staff. Jones is an alumnus of Queens University of Charlotte and is joining the Royals this year as an assistant coach after being a volunteer coach last season.
Jones, a native of Bel Air, Md., graduated from Queens in 2008 with a B.A. in communication and is now pursuing his MBA. While attending Queens he played lacrosse for the Royals. Jones was the team captain for two seasons and was the recipient of the Most Improved Player Award and the Coaches Award.
The new assistant has worked as a counselor at many lacrosse camps helping younger players develop their skills. Some of the camps include the Jim Fritz Lacrosse Camp, Empire Lacrosse Camp, and All South All American Lacrosse Camp.
Jones also works for Carolina Courts as a facility manager and at E.C.R.E.S on the Title Search Team. In addition he is an assistant coach for Team Charlotte and Adrey Kell High School.
