Professional

1. Why did you want to work at Queens?
Being a graduate I have a huge admiration for the quality of education seeing how successful my classmates are presently. I also love being surrounded by high level coaches that are all striving for success.
2. Describe your fondest coaching moment.
Coaching on court during UNCW’s first win over a national ranked program. My guy had lost the first and was way down in the second- We were able to turn it around and that match ended up being the clincher.
3. What is your coaching philosophy?
I can’t give away my secrets
4. Why did you want to become a coach?
I have been fortunate to have been trained by some of the top coaches in the game. It is a great feeling to help someone achieve their goals.
5. If you weren’t a coach, what other job would you want to be doing?
High School Strength Coach or a Chef- I am a master on the grill

Personal

1. Where did you attend college?
The QUOC
2. What activities did you participate in during college?
Tennis and going to class
3. Who is your role model and why?
My parents because they are the two most supportive, positive and loving human beings.
4. As a child, what did you want to be when you “grew up”?
A professional hockey player because my dad was drafted when he was 15.
5. What is one of the most exciting times of your life? Favorite memory?
That is such a tough question. It would have to be winning my first tournament when I was about nine years old or seeing Jerusalem for the first time.

Just for Fun

1. What is your favorite sport to watch?
MMA and indoor Lacrosse- Go Wings!
2. What sports do you like to play?
Outside of tennis- any sport that has physical contact- I don’t have the temperament for golf.
3. What is your favorite color?
I like different shades of red.
4. Who is your favorite athlete and why?
My favorite athletes are Pistol Pete and Uriah Faber. Pete because he was dominate for a decade and did it with class. Uriah because I have never seen an athlete with that large of a commitment to strength and conditioning.
