CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Queens University of Charlotte’s Kelley Duffey (New Hope, Minn. , Robinsdale Cooper ) has been named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) South Region Second Team.
The IWLCA has honored 64 student-athletes in Division II with a selection on one of the All-Regional teams for 2009. These athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-American teams, which will be announced on May 22. The IWLCA and US Lacrosse will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-American banquet on June 13, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.
Duffey finished the 2009 season with 57 assists, the third most in Division II, and also third in the nation with 3.17 assists per game.
This is the second time Duffey has been named to the IWLCA All-Region Second Team.
