Lee-Daigle Finishes Freshman Season Ranked 19th in Southeast Region

Christaan was one of six players from the conference ranked in the top 20.

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Christaan Lee-Daigle of the men's tennis team here at Queens University of Charlotte finished his freshman season ranked 19th in the ITA DII Men's Southeast Region. He is one of six players from Conference Carolinas ranked in the region and the only freshman from the conference to receive the honors. He also earned Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year Award honors and was named to the Conference Carolinas All-Conference First team.

Head Coach Brett Karpman had this to say about his player: “Christiaan came into the program as a very accomplished junior player with a few ITF titles under his belt. He took full advantage of the training and was able to put on 20 pounds of lean muscle mass that improved his racquet head speed, ball depth, and heaviness. He showed great poise as a freshmen and I am very excited about his future. “
